Project Spotlight - Mount Triglav, December 30th, 1968 Zvezda Park, Ljubljana, Slovenia

Greetings and a Happy New Year to you. May it be a year for real change filled with reverence for life.

In my early years in my native Slovenia, I created a series of unique installations celebrating moments of astonishment I experienced in nature. Today, December 30th marks the 52nd anniversary of the most well-known of these - Triglav. It was a fun project with unexpected impact.

I recently sat down with my youngest daughter, Anya, who wanted to hear more about that project. She made a short video about it.

Below, you’ll also find link to a recent interview published in Hidden Leaves, a publication of Ilan-Lael, a non-profit founded by a good friend and celebrated artist James Hubbell. Here I focus on the Pomegranate Center methods of building community through art.

See you in 2021!
